Javi Villa in Germany for the ninth round of the European Hillclimb Championship.

Steinbach, 29th July: Javi Villa is already at the german city of Steinbach, where is held this weekend the Glassbachrennen, ninth round of the 2016 European Hillclimb Championship.

The great performances of Javi at the wheel of the BRC B49 each time he competes with the european series contenders did catch the attention of the German event organizers, who invited the Asturias born driver and the Bango Racing Cars team to enter the Glassbach hillclimb to show up in Germany the possibilities of the vehicles from the Spanish CM group.

The Glassbachrennen is run on a 5.5 kms long course, reckonned as the safest of Europe for hillclimb racing. This year there are 150 entrants, and among them are all the main contenders of the continental series with their powerfull sportscars and singleseaters. Villa's BRC B49 has been included within the E2-SH group, the one for the 'silouethes' althought this time the sporting results is of almost no relevance for the Spaniard and his team, who are entering the German event whitout the pressure of going for any points and just focusing on getting as higher as possible on the overall results and, specially, show the competitivity of the B49 designed and built by Bango Racing Cars.
