Javi Villa tipped for the win in the third round of the Spanish Hillclimb Championship.
Arriondas 16th May. With almost no time to rest after the difficult weekend of the European NASCAR round at Dijon, Javi Villa's focus, for the last few days, is on the Fito hillclimb, his second date this year with the Spanish Hillclimb championship, which will be held at Arriondas on Saturday and Sunday.

Javi already knows what it's like to win at Fito, he had a spectacular debutthere last year with commanding wins in the three timed climbs of the Spanish Championship and also setting a new record for the CM category where his BRC CM05EVO was entered.

This year, at the wheel of the new BRC B49, Villa's target is to win again and also try to beat his own record at the classic Asturian event. A really hard task as there is still some setup work to be done in order to release all the great potential shown by the new model from Bango Racing Cars, so to further develop the B49 is the other main focus for the driver and team during the weekend at Arriondas.

The Fito hillclimb celebrates its 42 running with a slightly changed timetable from previous years. The event, valid not only for the Spanish hillclimb championship but also for the European and Asturian series, also gets a new service park, closer to the start line which should ease the work for the team between each climb. For the Spanish Championship contenders, on Saturday morning the practice and race 1, followed by the race 2 climbs take place, Completing the programme, on Sunday morning, will be with the two legs of race 3.
