Second round of the 2013 European NASCAR for Javi Villa.
Dijon, 8th May 2013: This weekend the French track of Dijon will host the second race meeting of EuroRaceCar, the European NASCAR series where Javi Villa is one of the main contenders for victory.

The Spaniard started his second season driving the powerful American style cars at the end of March in Nogaro, with a weekend that didn't begin very well due to mechanical problems, but it ended up well with a great recovery drive that almost allowed him to win the final race of the meeting. The great pace shown by Javi there means that driver and team are facing the second event of the series with a lot of optimism and they expect to make good use of all the experience gathered during their first race weekend together.

At Dijon the on track activity begins on Thursday with two practice sessions, one of 45 minutes in the morning and another of 30 minutes in the afternoon, this will be perfect for Villa to get his first contact with the historic French track, the only one that is totally new for him in this year's European NASCAR schedule.

Another free practice session on Friday morning will be followed by qualifying to decide the starting grid for Saturday's race, while on Sunday the second race of the weekend will complete the meeting.

More information about Dijon's event and the EuroRaceCar series can be found at the series official website:

Javier Villa's own words: "We are looking forward to getting back in the car and test all the work done by the team. Dijon is the only track of the 2013 NASCAR Europe schedule that I don't know but we are confident that we will be stronger than at Nogaro thanks to all the work done by Scorpus during this month."
