Javi Villa to drive the BRC B49 again this weekend.
This weekend, once again at the wheel of the BRC B49,Javi Villa is entering the 'Vega de Espinareda' hillclimb, first event of the regional Castilla-Leon hillclimb championship to be held on Saturday and Sunday at the village in the Bierzo area.

Villa is driving at Vega de Espinareda the same BRC B49 he drove to victory at his first attempt just two weeks ago at the Ubrique hillclimb, the first round of the Spanish Championship. The target of this outing in a regional event for Javi and Bango Racing Cars is to continue to work on the setup of the new car ahead of the next two consecutive races in the Spanish series, to be held at Falperra (Portugal) the 11st and 12nd of May, and at Arriondas, for the Fito Hillclimb, on 18th and 19th of May.

The third running of the 'Vega de Espinareda' will be spread over Saturday and Sunday. The first day the schedule starts at 16:30 with the warm-up, followed by the first practice, at 17:30, and the first timed climbs, due to start at 18:30. The programme will be completed on Sunday morning from 10:00 with the same schedule as the day before: : warm-up, free practice and timed climb. More information about the event at the organiser's website

Javier Villa's own words: "We are going to Vega de Espinareda with the target of keeping on working on the car. At Ubrique we managed to win at the first attempt with the B49 but, as you'd expect from a totally new car, we also saw that there were some areas to improve and to do that nothing is better than doing another race before the next national events so we get there with the best possible setup for the car in order to feel more comfortable and realise all its great potential."
